Ballast

Ballast is a blend of 50:50 grit sand and 20mm to dust.

Perfect if you have a small area to concrete or a post to set.

The smaller stone makes it easier to level and smooth when the depth to be concreted is smaller than usual.

Ballast is usually mixed with cement and water to create concrete.

It is added to concrete because it offers stability and structure to the mixture and creates a solid base.

Ballast is also suitable for other building projects and can provide an even sub-base for driveways and shed bases.

Please note: this product is naturally sourced, so that it may vary in colour, size, and texture.

Sizes available: 22kg handy bags.

One handy bag will cover approximately 0.22m² at 50mm deep.
