Line Wire

High-quality 3.15mm dia galvanised line wire for fencing applications.

Galvanised tensioning line wire supports chain link fencing, rabbit netting, stock fencing and agricultural fences horizontally. It is tensioned to take the strain between timber anchor posts using a straining tool or tensioning ratchets.

The fencing mesh is clipped to the wire to prevent the top from sagging.

Additional horizontal wires should be installed at the base of any agricultural fencing and for large-height fences in the middle to produce a robust and taut fencing barrier.

Staples can be purchased to fix the wire to pointed stakes.

Unlike mild line wire, which is malleable and will keep stretching, the elasticity of high tensile line wire means that any pressure applied to the wire will spring back once the pressure is released.

High tensile line wire will give you a high-strength fence or support wire with minimal maintenance.

It also means a greater distance between intermediate posts can be achieved.
