Sterling/Wafer Board

Our sterling board OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is formed by layering wood flakes in a specific orientation.

Its wooden strips are compressed and bonded together with wax and resin adhesive.

OSB boards are versatile, robust and cost-effective.

They can be used for internal structural and non-structural projects and are particularly appropriate for load-bearing applications because of the structure of strands within the panels and their high mechanical properties.

Ideal for wall sheathing and flooring, site hoardings and pallet tops, industrial packaging and sarking.

Easy to use, it can be cut by a hand or power saw and machined (routed, spindled, planed and bored) with standard woodworking machinery.

We offer a bespoke cutting service for all sheet materials at an additional charge.

All timber is ethically sourced and FSC certified upon request before ordering.

Sizes available: 8 x 4 x 8mm, 8 x 4 x 11mm and 8 x 4 x 18mm.
